This was another collage i did in my digital photography class. We used imagines taken with pinhole cameras. I'm proud of myself for completing an abstract piece!
Yet another self portrait assignment for class. I painted most of this over the thanksgiving break at my grandparent's house. I made final touches just in time to send it off to Montevallo for the district show (yes, still wet!).
This was a short CCAD assignment of the figure. Because my mother didn't prefer me drawing nude models, i instead got to sketch the freaky, legless manikin! It's not that exciting of a piece, i just wanted to show that i do have drawing capabilities.
This was an assignment for my painting class at CCAD. Twas my first lesson in oils. The class was taught by the wonderful Doug Norman, and it was the best class ever!! We spent a whole lot of time on it.
This was my free assignment at CCAD. I painted from an image of us siblings, taken in Costa Rica a couple summers back. I painted it for my mom - hopefully have time to work back into it.
I did this at home over the summer to try out oil paints. I didn't have any clue what i was doing but i didn't care since i had just gotten my wisdom teeth out and needed entertainment. I plan to finish it someday...
This was an art assignment to create a collage that portrays me or something about me. It was pretty frustrating in the process of creation, but i learned a lot in making this. It was a growing piece for me.
